About the Authors
Marcos von Sperling is a professor of Environmental Engineering at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) in Brazil. He is the author of over 200 publications and has been involved in the design and operation of wastewater treatment plants for over 30 years.
Ivanildo Hespanhol is a professor of Environmental Engineering at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) in Brazil. He is the author of over 100 publications and has been involved in the design and operation of wastewater treatment plants for over 20 years.
